Chris's *31* Birthday

For Chris's 31st birthday we went out with some friends. Had a couple drinks and played some pool. We bought him a laptop and made his favorite cake. Xander always has to be Mr. funny guy and bought him a Barbie doll as a big joke! It was too funny.

My Handsome Boys

We bought Xander his own G.I. Joe 'shaving' kit for Christmas. He couldn't wait to shave with his daddy! I love how in the picture he is watching how his dad is shaving while he does it, too. I had to take a picture.

Happy New Year *2010*

We went to Fairmont Hot Springs for New Years Day and spent the day swimming in the pool. Chris's mom Donna was here visiting for the holidays. Her and I relaxed in the HOT pools while Xander and Chris went down the water slide 100 x. We had so much fun.

Christmas 09

We had a fabulous Christmas this year. Chris's mom came from Colorado to visit for 10 days. On Christmas Eve we went to my dad's "grampa Bob" and had a great prime rib dinner and opened presents. On Christmas Day my mom, aunt, stepdad and both sisters came over. We opened presents, played games and ate a ton of food! It was a gift to be back in Mt. and spend christmas with both of our families!

Xander's Christmas Program

The cute blonde boy in the middle with the blue shirt and grey vest is Xander. He looked so handsome in his suit!  They sang 3 songs for us. Grandma Julie, grandpa Bob and auntie Trisha came along with Chris and I. We didn't know that Xander actually had a solo in the program!! Him and 2 others came up front of the stage and just stood there while everybody else kept singing. Chris and I looked at each other like, "why isn't he singing'  then all the sudden a drum solo came through the speakers and there goes Xander, starts ROCKIN' out and playing the air drums!! We are letting him grow his hair out so his hair is a'flyin around and everything! He had the whole crowd laughing! That was one of those moments where as a parent you go, "that's my son." A christmas program we'll never forget!

The Nutcracker Ballet

There is a reason I didn't post a beautiful picture of the Nutcracker ballet or of my son and husband at the ballet. You see, I love the performing arts, theatre and ballet. Especially around the holidays. However, my boys disagree. I thought the ballet was beautiful, but apparently my son did not when he leaned over to dad during the show and whispered, " this is lame." We weren't allowed to take pictures of the ballet itself. After the performance I wanted pictures by the HUGE nutcracker, but my son basically said, no way. And dad would've if I felt like 'dragging' him to do it. So, no pictures. Only a story to tell.
