Cookies, Cookies For Sale!

The year on the pictures should actually be 2009.  Xander and I made Christmas cookies, listened to Christmas music and drank some, "Holiday Spritzers." After the fun decorating Xander INSISTED that we go around the neighborhood and 'sale' these cookies for $1.00 a piece.( In my mind I was totally hoping he would forget this idea because I just DID NOT want to do this!) He made his own sign for the cookie box then fretted about needing a strap to go around the cookie box so he could wear it around his shoulder like at the football/basketball games, AND he said there was NO WAY he was going out there without his, Clark Kent glasses (which I might add are 10x too big for his face) because he says he can't see without them!  I finally talked him outa the strap idea since nothing we had worked, but agreed he could of course wear his glasses! :) Then he agreed he should give these delicious cookies away instead of selling them. What kind of mother would I be if I didn't let my son be a giver??  So...., off we went around the neighborhood knocking door to door only to find 3 people on our block were home! However, we had a blast and he actually made $1.00!  I actually began to feel proud that he would want to give away his cookies he worked so hard to make.  To make this story even more precious,  at the end of the day my son said to me, "Mom, thanks for letting me have my sale."  This will be a day I will never forget.

Tooth Fairy $$$

Xander lost tooth #4. The Tooth-Fairy brought him $2.00.

My First Blog!

After FINALLY checking out my dad's TraumaFx blog I thought....what a cool way for me to be able to create one for my family! I love creating memories and now that most of my family is computer literate I can share our life with them through my blog. Not even really sure what a 'blog' is supposed to be used for, but I'll just make mine up!
